A used compact SUV should make everyday driving easier without adding unnecessary cost or complexity. The 2016 Nissan Rogue SV offers a comfortable cabin, flexible cargo space, efficient four-cylinder performance, and useful convenience features that still meet the needs of many drivers today.
For shoppers searching for a 2016 Nissan Rogue SV in Staten Island, iDeal Auto Sales of Staten Island offers a straightforward way to shop for a practical used SUV. Whether you need a vehicle for commuting, family transportation, shopping, or weekend travel, the Rogue SV provides a balanced combination of comfort, efficiency, and utility.
Easy Everyday Power
The 2016 Nissan Rogue uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. It pairs with Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission, which is designed to deliver smooth power during city and highway driving. Nissan offered the Rogue SV with either front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive.
That combination makes the used Nissan Rogue SV well-suited for common driving needs around Staten Island and throughout New York City.
Highlights include:
- 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine
- 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque
- Xtronic continuously variable transmission
- Front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive
- Sport and Eco driving modes
For buyers comparing used compact SUVs, this straightforward powertrain provides the performance needed for daily transportation without requiring a larger vehicle.
Comfortable SV Features
The SV trim adds several convenience upgrades over the base Rogue. Features associated with this generation include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button ignition, a power driver’s seat, privacy glass, roof rails, and automatic headlights.
These features help make the 2016 Nissan Rogue SV comfortable for both short trips and longer drives. Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview monitor also provide useful technology for everyday driving.
Equipment can vary by individual used vehicle, especially when optional packages were originally selected, so shoppers should review the exact features and equipment on the Rogue they are considering.
Flexible Interior and Cargo Space
One of the Rogue’s strengths is its flexible interior. The second-row seating can comfortably accommodate passengers while still providing useful room for groceries, luggage, work equipment, or other everyday cargo.
The Rogue also features Nissan’s flexible seating and cargo design, allowing the rear area to adapt when additional storage space is needed. Some 2016 models were also available with optional third-row seating, depending on the original configuration.
That flexibility makes the Rogue useful for:
- Daily commuting around Staten Island
- Family errands and school trips
- Grocery and shopping runs
- Weekend travel outside New York City
- Carrying larger items with the rear seats folded
